When we are closed
If you telephone between 18:30 and 08:00 your call will be automatically diverted to the number for the out-of-hours service, NHS 111 (dial 111).
They will take your details and you will then speak to a doctor who will give advice or arrange and appointment or visit, if this is necessary.

111 online is a fast and convenient alternative to the 111 phone service and provides an option for people who want to access 111 digitally.
Your needs will be assessed and you will be given advice about whether you need:
- Treat yourself at home
- Go to a Primary Care Centre
If you need face to face medical attention you may be asked to attend a Primary Care Centre.

Accident & Emergency
Did you know it is not always necessary to attend Accident & Emergency?
In the first instance, please contact the Surgery on 01268 418200 to speak to a receptionist. If your call is outside normal surgery hours your call will be diverted to the Out of Hours Emergency Doctors Service who will be able to advise you.
If you have suffered a minor injury you can attend The Minor Injuries Unit at Orsett Hospital at the following times:
10:00 – 19:30 7 days a week
X-ray facilities are only available until 16:00.
