Welcome to the Langdon Hills Medical Centre
This website has been designed so you get to know us better and to ensure you are able to make the most of the services we offer which include family planning, ante natal and post natal care, child surveillance and minor surgery in addition to the standard medical services which are expected of the NHS.
We pride ourselves in providing a personal service and excellent quality care for around 5,900 patients in Langdon Hills and its surrounding areas.
Thanks to our team of highly professional and well respected Receptionists, Nurses and Health Visitors who, over the years, have built strong relationships with many healthcare professionals such as Chiropodists, Osteopaths, etc, we are able to pursue the delivery of the best possible primary care to all our patients.
We hope you will find the various sections of our website useful and remain at your disposal for any queries you may have.

1st September 2010
As part of the changes we are making to be of better service to you, we are pleased to announce the launch of our Surgery Newsletter - a three monthly publication which is designed to keep you informed about what is happening at the Centre and to bring key information to your attention.
Get a copy today by clicking on this link.
Alternatively request one from our Reception Desk when you next visit the Centre.
Reserved car parking spaces for the disabled are marked near the front door. The ramp also allows access to the treatment room from outside in an emergency. All patient services are provided at ground floor level and a disabled patients' WC is also provided. Should, despite all these measures, access still proves too difficult to any of our disabled patients, please do let us know and we will be happy to provide further assistance as may be required.
Patient Participation Group
The Patient Participation Group is now up and running and consists of 12 patient members. We meet regularly to discuss ways to improve the service that we provide.
If anybody is interested in joining us please give your details to Reception and you will be contacted by one of the Admin team. Alternatively you can email us on firstname.lastname@example.org.
For example, we would like to hear from our patients of all ages, from teenagers through to retired patients, patients with children, carers, patients with disabilities and patients from all ethnic backgrounds etc.
If you are planning a vacation please contact the Surgery as soon as possible to check that you are up to date with necessary vaccinations. You can check this by clicking on the link on travel advice on this website and completing a form which should be handed in to our Practice Nurse. Please make sure you allow plenty of time before your holiday to have the relevant vaccinations as they should be done at least four weeks before going abroad.
Change of Details
Please inform the Surgery if any of your personal details change. For example telephone numbers (home or mobile), address, name (by marriage or deed poll). Please do not fill out change of address forms until you have actually moved to your new address. Also please remember to update telephone numbers if you change address. Failure to do so may result in us not being able to contact you in the event of any changes to appointments etc.
We are happy to welcome our new Registrars, Dr Ajai Seth, who will be with us until August 2013.
We also welcome Dr Adrian Conner who will be with us for 4 months till the end of July 2013.
